Boeing increases training capabilities in China

Boeing has expanded its Flight Services business in China by introducing a 787 training suite for pilots and maintenance personnel and a 747-400 full-flight simulator (FFS) at its Shanghai campus.

The new devices join a 757/767 FFS already installed at the facility. Boeing predicts huge demand for pilots and technicians in the Asia Pacific region, with a requirement for 72,000 commercial airline pilots and over 108,000 maintenance technicians in the next 20 years.
