'Try Hockey for Free' Day - Living On The Cheap

The NHL season?may be on?hold right now, but there is still reason to get excited?about hockey. ?USA Hockey wants to give kids from all backgrounds a chance to try out youth hockey during NHL?s Come Play Hockey Month.???Try Hockey for Free? Day?is being held at more than 400 rinks across the United States on Saturday, November 3, 2012, to introduce?kids ages 4 through 9?to the sport and give them a chance to test it out.

Hockey equipment can be expensive, so if your kids enjoy the free hockey lesson, consider purchasing used gear from Craigslist, used sporting equipment stores, or your local rink or youth hockey league.
